Fresh Irish Strawberries

We supply our local shops, farm shops, farmer's market sellers, wholesalers and the multiple retailers. Production starts in late April and continues until late October.

Each step in the process from planting to harvesting, packing and delivery is supervised by family members. This ensures that quality is always the main focus at all times.

As soon as the strawberries have been picked they are chilled immediately to ensure that the "just picked" freshness is maintained for maximum shelf life.

Irish Strawberry Plants for Irish conditions.

Mc Carthys are the only supplier of certified Irish Strawberry “Tray plants.”
• Strawberry Tray plants are plants grown in pots through the summer season and then cold stored in December ready for despatch to comercial growers from January to June.
• As the plants are pot grown the rootball remains intact ready for planting. This gives a far healthier and stronger plant than the traditional bare root type.
• All plants produced are from certified mother plants which are replaced annually to ensure we only produce the highest quality plants.
• Over night delivery available to anywhere in Ireland.
